Privacy Policy
FIELDMARCH is a brand of WicWac Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how WicWac Inc. (“WicWac”, “we”, “us”, “our”), of WicWac Inc., 1420 – 99 Bank Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1P 1H4, collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in connection with the fieldmarch.com website (the “Site”) and pre-sales activities for the Fieldmarch product.
We comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and its ten fair information principles. For visitors from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our GDPR Statement supplements this policy. This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

1. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Site and communications you initiate with us — for example, the “Schedule a briefing” form or email sent to our addresses. It also covers the password-protected Resources area of the Site.
It does not govern deployed Fieldmarch installations. Production deployments run inside a customer’s own network enclave under a separate written agreement, and the customer organization is responsible for personal information processed within its enclave. By design, no identity data leaves a customer enclave.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need for the purposes described in this policy:
- Briefing requests — name, rank or appointment (optional), organization, work email address, selected discussion topic and any message you choose to include.
- Correspondence — the content of emails you send us and our replies.
- Resources area — files uploaded by authorized users, together with the uploader’s session context.
- Technical information — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) used for security and site operation.
- Preferences stored on your device — your light/dark theme choice and Resources-area session unlock are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to us.
3. How we use personal information
- To respond to briefing requests and schedule meetings you ask for;
- To prepare for and follow up on pre-sales discussions;
- To operate, secure and improve the Site;
- To meet legal, regulatory and audit obligations.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not use personal information collected through the Site for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Consent
We collect, use and disclose personal information with your knowledge and consent, as PIPEDA requires. Submitting the briefing form constitutes consent to be contacted about your request. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by writing to contact@fieldmarch.com. Commercial electronic messages, where sent, comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL); every such message identifies us and provides a functioning unsubscribe mechanism.
5. Disclosure
We disclose personal information only:
- To service providers who host or support the Site under contractual confidentiality and security obligations;
- Where required or permitted by law — for example, in response to a lawful demand by a Canadian court or authority;
- In connection with a business transaction involving WicWac Inc., subject to appropriate safeguards and continued protection under this policy.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Briefing-request records are retained for the duration of the pre-sales relationship and for a reasonable period afterward, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.
7. Safeguards
We protect personal information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, access controls, and the segregation of the Resources area behind authentication. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as PIPEDA requires.
8. Your rights
Subject to limited exceptions in PIPEDA, you may:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Withdraw consent to further collection, use or disclosure;
- Ask questions or make a complaint about our practices.
Write to contact@fieldmarch.com. We respond to access requests within the time limits set by PIPEDA. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
9. Cookies and local storage
The Site uses no advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Two preferences are stored locally in your browser only: your theme choice (light or dark) and, for authorized users, a session flag that keeps the Resources area unlocked until you close your browser or lock it. Clearing your browser storage removes both.
10. International visitors and transfers
The Site is operated from Canada and information we collect is stored in Canada or with service providers subject to comparable protection. The European Commission has recognized PIPEDA as providing adequate protection for personal data transferred to commercial organizations in Canada. Visitors from the EEA or UK should also read our GDPR Statement.
11. Children
The Site is directed at professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province or country of residence.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do, and material changes will be flagged on the Site. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
